Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

    Downloading music as usual – ever heard of Beth Hart – has a new album out – like her music very much. Started listening to her older tracks as well – ran across “My California” – name of album as well as one of the songs. Beautiful lyrics – “I love you like the sun loves California” – for some reason the music and lyrics remind me of Adam.

    Thanks cwm for that link to the vid of Adam and his amime doppelgangers. It really is uncanny how much he resembles them. But what I liked most was this quote from the article. Of course, we know this about Adam, but I love it when other people talk about him in this way. Heart

    Which, aside from his ‘do and numerous earrings, makes him pretty much the exact opposite of the big-hearted and even bigger-voiced Adam Lambert.

    Idol is just so boring now. A couple decent singers, but I hate how the judges fawn over a few of them calling them superstars and I want to gag sometimes. . They are obviously hearing something I’m not. I dvr it and fast forward thru in about 8 mins flat. I truly miss Simon and Adam Lambert! Nigel had better do something fast to stop the decline there. Hear he is insisting on keeping Nicki Minaj as a judge.
    Have to say     The Voice is much more entertaining especially when the mentors compete with each other for the same singers and they have some really talented singers in the teams now. Unfortunately the other Adam got that girl Judith Hill who was supposed to have sung with Michael Jackson on tour before he passed away. She’s great. I am going for Team Blake even though he gets mostly country music singers. Idol started out with quite a few good singers but somehow the judges lost most of them along the way and it’s pitiful what we got for top 10. Cry

    I didn’t watch Idol – I simply can’t get into it. The online post show recaps are more than enough for me. I know I upset a couple of people with the suggestion that Adam should be a judge on The Voice (don’t watch that either) but I wasn’t implying that he would be disloyal. Just saying that if he is going to set aside a whole lot of recording and touring time, it should be for a show that is on the rise, not one that has hit the “rapid decline” button this season.

    Adam has already appeared on The Voice in other countries, to good effect. I doubt the Voice would offer him a position but, if they did, Adam would surely let Idol know before making a decision and it would be their call. No doubt in my mind which show Adam would want to be judging for.

    Just my wish for him is all.

    Couple of pics posted by Niko, Sauli’s BB friend, were clearly taken from Adam and Sauli’s apartment. The pool and the city view in the background give it away. I gather that Niko is in town to shoot an episode of Sauli’s TV show. Sauli is really pulling out all the stops on getting himself and his guests into Finnish entertainment news. Here are the pics:

    Saw an interview with Sarah Silverman last week, she was talking about how she lives in the same building with Kelly O, which means, same building as….

    Watched Idol last night, swore I was done with the season a few days ago, but found myself wandering over there….what a crap-fest, except for Angie.

    My ears are ruined for Queen and Zep. All I can hear is Adam. And after that Zep Kennedy Center night, with Heart and Stairway, wowza, and Kravits and WLL, wowza again.

    I know, no Zep last night, just talking here…

    I liked Devin, and he’s gone. I do think he’s one to watch though. I think they were careful with his background because of the “gay” BS again. I’m so sick of that. So incredibly sick of it. # Team Post Gay.

    Me, too, mils. We’re still a ways away from that, though. I just watched Devin’s exit interview with Michael Slezak. He’s cute and interesting. Could be going places. His outfits have a Bruno Mars vibe. I love that Adam DM’d him. I might watch some of his performances but will probably skip Tracks of My Tears.

    I’ve just finished watching Idol, Janelle is really growing on me, she seems the only one with a oersonality and any performance skills, she has much more stage presence than the others. And I thought Angie was really good tonight.

    Maybe OTT but relevant to Adam’s rights: Jeremy Irons has weighed in on SSM and he doesn’t have a strong feeling about it but…he worries…..

    He cites the dangerous potential for disingenous Father/Son marriages to avoid state taxes – because incest wouldn’t apply male/male marriages. He seems to be unaware that all of the SSM supportive arguments before the Supreme Court are based on EQUAL treatment, regardless of gender. If you follow his line of thought, we are currently at risk of similar tax dodges from senior-aged parents with middle-aged children who are past childbearing age.

    On the bright side, he is extremely concerned about civil rights when the government is legislating cigarette and pop consumption. He thinks laws re: disapproval of certain behaviours are dangerous and demonstrative of government stupidity.

    So can we draw any conclusions about the spew from this? I missed the triangle on the outer wrist tatto. This must be the most recent from his tour. I must not have much of an opinion either way on the tatts to miss that. Where is Kradamour, BTW? I hope she has recovered from her surgery and is doing well. I think I heard something about a film festival side trip but that is over, yes?

    The parking metre shots were lovely and the anime liknesses are spot-on but I am hoping for a “working in the studio” photo sometime this month. I know he deserves a bit of R&R.

    I have a feeling that the “spew”, as you call it, will get filled in with color in the future as he adds more tats to make up the sleeve that he has said that he wants to have done on his arm.

    Occasional tats can be nice, but sleeves, IMO, are FUGLY. Neck ones, too.

    Thanks for that photo/article about Del Mar Arena, jlurksacto. I had thought it was a covered arena but in original pics it looked totally outdoors. Covered in 2009 I see.

    Regards to Idol and next week’s theme…yes the comments over there are a hoot! People are saying Nigel Lithgoe is not tweeting anymore. IMO, he’s gone and there will be a huge shakeup. I agree with someone saying Ryan Seacrest should take over as producer. Idol is my favorite reality singing show and would hate to see it gone.

    Not sure if I see Sauli on the red carpet with Adam. Hope so, though.

    I don’t think Adam is performing in the Arena. I think the stage is set up by the track. I was at Del Mar and a security man told me this. Also there are 4 different levels of tickets in the grandstand, two seated and two GA and the Grandstand overlooks the track.I am not positive, but it does seem to match up with the seating chart.
