Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

    Last week’s crossword looked at Adam “Live Proud” and this week he was doing that in China. He is making a positive statement by just being himself and was introduced as a “World Superstar” to 2 billion people!
    The PDF puzzle this week has a bonus fill-in section to see what they said about him prior to performing that night – translated of course!

    I am glad that we have differing opinions on matters, or else it would be like reading a blog from the Stepford fans club or something. Hypnotized
    However, I didn’t see a negative downward spiral in the last pages…but then I’ve been on drugs! Pill Laugh

    The important thing is that we all love Adam and love each other, and like any family we have our disagreements. I think anyone reading this blog from outside would see that too.

    Disagreement is good. Heck I disagree with myself every half hour or so. I thank everyone who puts up “controversial posts” or “gut reaction spontaneous posts” because they actually help my opinions evolve.

    Sheesh. Poor luval.

    All of us are attached to Adam in different ways and we all have different ideas of him. The only time this presents difficulty is when our idea of Adam is threatened and we feel such a strong need to keep it intact that we launch a missile instead of a well thought-out rebuttal.

    Example, when Adam and Sauli break-up news was made public, I got upset with ulti because she thought his announcement was flippant and found it funny. I snapped at her because it is important for me to believe that Adam is a thoughtful person who would do his utmost not to be hurtful. Who was right or wrong was immaterial. We come here for different reasons and each of us fulfils the social contract to listen/respond/amplify/rebut with respect and kindness, which is why I apologized.

    Now we have received from luval several expressions of concern for Adam’s vulnerability in his new social social situation. She is asking us to help her feel better about this, not knocking Adam in any way. IMHO, she is allowed….snark and sarcasm should not be used to intimidate any member on this site into keeping quiet about her concern for someone who is very important to her.

    Ulti, I don’t know if you saw my apology but I am offering it again. #RESPECT should be Number One here.

    So GLAAD has different award shows in several different places or is the one in May in SF for different awards though they are both labeled media awards. Yes, I’m confused!

    Wish Adam could be in two places at once and attend tonight’s show with all the big hitters. They must have made him a great offer to stay for the China Idol opening and for whatever the other show it. Do we know what the second one is yet???

    I’m confused too. I thought Adam get’s his GLAAD award on May 11th. I have to say I love that Adam is so well-received in China. He should scoop up all the opportunities he can get there.

    GLAAD is doing several awards presentations in several different categories in several cities. There was one a few weeks ago where Anderson Cooper won the award and Madonna presented it wearing a Boy Scout uniform. Adam’s ceremony is on May 11th.

    Adam will receive the Davidson/Valentini award in SF in May, but the LA portion of the awards is tonight. Adam is also nominated for outstanding music artist which may be awarded tonight.

    turquoisewaters, Every time I see Leonardo I think of Adam. In certain photos they look similar. (well, Leo would have to spike his hair really high and use a little eyeliner). And I remember Adam being asked in an interview, who would he like to play him in a movie and he said Leonardo.

    Yesterday, after TLKC thoroughly enjoyed every moment of “Hello Dolly!” … Big Smile … we went through some photos. We came across one of the Toronto Fab 5 being photographed with Adam in January/February 2010. She doesn’t post here but I’m going to respect her privacy and have cropped her out of the photo.

    Someone once paid $28,000.00 on eBay for a grilled cheese sandwich because it appeared that there was an image of the Virgin Mary on it.

    I wonder if the lucky buyer ate it or hung it on a wall some place?
