Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

    Our boy has a smile that lights up the room or arena. I thought he looked very handsome and the outfit was edgy without being too over the top. A perfect balance.

    What’s going on with me lately? I usually agree with you guys most of the time about Adam’s outfits from liking them to really, really liking them.

    Then Miami happened. Laugh

    There was nothing wrong with what he wore on the show except I thought to receive an award such as this one that it was a little too casual for the occasion.

    I thought he’d go for something a little dressier. A little more formal.

    I wanted better shoes. That is often ADam’s weak link.
    Thinking
    He walks a little bit duck-footed and needs dress shoes with arches for these events to offset that.
    I liked the suit, but agree with Ron that the shirt was a little bit too casual…but this is a performance award, yes? Didn’t see what others were wearing.

    I must still be a little bit cranky from yesterday’s stupid article.

    can you believe? Had a nice quiet morning here at work with the link to the CMA on with low sound. No problems. Caught the last part of award and then within 30 seconds of Adam starting to sing Trespassing, the phones rang off the hook, I had peeps at my desk booking 4 appointments at a time and an AC technician who needed to be aware of what our problem was. So, although I kept the program on I really didn’t see much of it per se. Fortunately, there should be good vids from that clear link.

    @adamlambert Steams from China always have your vocal way high in the mix with almost no reverb. Good thing you sing on key. Just sayin…

    These were my thoughts too while listening. It always sounds so hollow or cavernous on the Chinese streams.

    I watched the whole show to the end of Adam’s performance, but it still kept going as I checked back a couple of times. WOW, and we think our awards shows are long.
    A couple of people sang entire songs off-key, a girl with a sparkly top and a duo. But overall, some nice performances. I was especially impressed with a guy in a long coat who sang both in a lower key, pop-style, then in a much higher voice almost opera-style. WOW. He won an award later.
    And a couple of times I couldn’t be sure if the singer was a guy or a girl. They definitely do not have issues with androgyny, which I find quite refreshing – even down to the little clips about contestants for each award.
    Adam looked especially handsome on the red carpet, and while performing. I noticed he did away with the dancers AND the black and yellow Trespassing backdrop – made him more of the focus. He still looks very very slender – hope he can get some rest now, normalize his schedule a little since he is staying in China for a little over a week, and be careful what he eats (bird flu in China, dead pigs in the river at Shanghai…..)

    He looked spectacular and sounded great – and, yes, about the “hollowness” of the sound. Can’t hide with that – it’s all out there.

    I am all over the place with what outfits I like. I really liked the scissor pants with the black shirt, coat and boots. I still don’t like the matching outfit. Whatever, he always looks great. He could be wearing a brown potato sack and I would not like the look but I would guarantee he would still be beautiful.

    To me the game is what he always talks about, being gay enough, or to gay, or when to speak his mind, or how to get his records played, the game of being a celebrity and a music artist while balancing his “obligation” to the LGBTQ community. And how everyone in the world has an opinion on how he should act. It is a big game. Blame all that, not him personally, he is doing the best he can.

    Thank you guys for bringing all these vids and tweets and other things here Smile I’ve been away the whole day, so couldn’t watch the stream or anything. Tough day, I’m half dead. But it made me happy to see Adam receiving the award and performing. I really liked his performance outfit. Are the pants new? His thighs looked SO slim in them…

    Stream really sounds strange. But I don’t complain, because the voice really stands out Smile Great vocals as usual! Maybe Adam’s dad watched the whole show and made same notices than riskylady about some performers… re Off key.
