Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

Thanks for the interview link nkd. EP is better than NO P and, given the shorter time it takes to put an EP out, may be better than an LP. Top radio singers try to put out a cd every 18 months. The public is fickle.

Another thought is that Adam might be trying to do something a little more organic. Putting songs into the clubs and letting the demand build on dance radio, then going out with a single when a song has decent traction. That’s how a lot of singers grow into stars. Not a bad idea.

Ain’t that true. First time we’ve seen him in a bathrobe, right? This one is my favorite. Thinking, staring, so pensive. Wonder what’s going through his head. Probably something like “How the hell did I get here?” or “Oooo, I see a hot number”.

Love that interview. I think he is still promoting Trespassing. His baby. Why not? Liked it when someone said GN was the best show he’s ever seen and why not a TP tour? Adam as usual gave the true answer.”Buy my album!” Then went on to talk about possible new music. When he says he’s listening to the radio, he has to be hearing Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers,..all the non-dance stuff. Guess that’s what he calls organic.

And the statement someone said “most people don’t know Pink wrote that song” LOL!!! We are not most people. hahaha

So glad to see the bodyguards with him. The more I got to think about the lady in the car incident in NYC, the more I thought that it could have gone very wrong. So many nut balls out there today.

TLKC, good points. Adam may well be thinking that he needs to try something different, because the traditional Plan A didn’t work for him. And it seems like he is close enough to Nile and Brian May that he could run thoughts by them…so much experience between the two of them. And unlike his management, they have no skin in the game and could base opinion/advice on solely what is best for this guy they like and have worked with pretty intimately. And there are likely others out there also, less high-profile, that Adam could brainstorm with. He has said many times that he likes to collaborate and work things out with others (albeit in a fairly controlling manner lol)

Strange how there was a photographer outside on the street below his window. A fan? professional? Usually they are waiting at the revolving door and not even in this country…all the overseas gigs.

Yes, Kradamour. He has connnected with so many major artists who respect him, love him and wish him well. They are in such a good position to advise and support behind the scenes. I can see Sam Sparro advising him to go the dance club way as well. If a song gets strong accpeptance in the clubs then radio feels safe playing it. I remember looking for her avatar during the Glamnation concert threads in MJ… just to read her comments. Once I interacted with her, and because of our roots, we were joking about the Polish and Indonesian flag ( the polish flag looks like an upside down Indonesian flag and vice versa)…

Thanks. FAB5 were asking yesterday and I told them to come here for all the info. Hope we get a livestream. I was disappointed about the lack of band yesterday but it WILL be the band – just not live. I’m sure they did the backing tracks and it will sound great.

RIP OKsana…I always loved your posts..

Looking at the pictures of Adam in his bathrobe at the window made me sad for him..He is loved by so many people but he is alone there and he has to be so careful of people’s intentions whom he gets close to..And his buy my album comment is so true..He made this album in support of his community and he never really got the support from the majority of them. Hopefully with his next album.

So true, firstimerob. I wonder even now if any of those thousands of people he will be performing in front of will listen or even buy Trespassing. Maybe they didn’t even know he had a second album until he mentioned it….the girl that mentioned WWFM…the guy who loved GNT. lol I am surprised someone didn’t ask him what’s he’s been doing since FYE.

I think those window shots must be professional, it looks like they were taken with a zoom lens from ground level….and I don’t think he was expecting it.

Good Morning ALL
I have been MIA because I had the granbabies and they are all consuming, in thought and time. We had a blast, loved every minute of it, there is just nothing like grandchildren.

I missed a lot, I tried to read a few times but was usually interrupted or just too busy, I did read back a couple of pages so

I am so sorry to hear about Oksana, she will be missed. I always enjoyed her posts and fierce protection of out boy.

Hope Adam has a great time in Miami and a great show. Doesn’t a backing track limit his adlibs, sometimes those are the best parts of an Adam show.

In legal terms, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy.
And if his hotel overlooks the street where gay pride is rolling along, that expectation of privacy would be a hundred times less reasonable.
If he was standing there in his underwear, or wrapped around some random guy, I would probably have a different opinion and chalk it up to drunkennes or whatever. But he is clothed and presentable and alone. It’s a candid but not intrusive shot.

Yes, and this is part of what makes me feel that these pictures are posed and not candid. In my opinion, Adam looks way too good to just be randomly hanging around in front of a window in his bathrobe. I also wonder how the photographer would have known to be at that window at that exact moment in time unless it was planned. Of course, I suppose there are ~~crazies~~ very passionate fans out there who might set up camp underneath his window hoping for an opportunity. I dunno…..

I’m hoping for 100,000 – + That might be unrealistic but you never know.

Reminds me, in a way, of Streisand’s free Central Park concert in 1967. She’d been in the public spotlight for only three years at that point. (Sound familiar?) She achieved however quite a lot during that short time with a Tony nomination, Grammy win and Emmy award but self doubts plagued her about this concert. She wondered if anyone would show up and thought she was facing public humiliation with not many people interested in seeing her. Privately she hoped for 10,000 but knew it would probably be less than that. In the end, 134,000 people were jammed into Central Park that night and she couldn’t believe it. There were further reports of people hanging out of their 5th Avenue and Central Park West apartment windows to hear her. It was taped and aired as her third TV special.

I wish Adam would have something like that! A filmed concert shown on a major TV network (ABC? You owe Adam!) with heavy TV ads leading up to the broadcast promoting the hell out of it.

I’d tune in.

Wasn’t there talk at one time of A&E airing GNT? Well that boat has sailed and I wouldn’t want it shown on TV now. He’s far away from the artist that he was back then … what was it? … all of 2 and-a-half years ago!

He was looking drop dead gorgeous yesterday…Everything from the hair, the glasses and what he was wearing…He was looking so confident, and I love that about him..I know he has many insecurities but he does hide it well..

Anyone remember the Diana Ross Concert in Central Park, when the thunder and lightening started and the crowd panicked. She stayed on stage and tried to calm everyone and get them to leave in an orderly fashion. All the while on a 4 story high stage, even her band disappeared, but she stayed up there directing the crowd.

I have been debating about giving myself a birthday present, but anywhere remotely close to the stage would cost a serious fortune. Even if I were willing to pay, it is doubtful if I would find someone to go with me. And it is less than a week before I leave for San Diego, and I had already decided that the Cali add-on is my birthday present to myself! lol!

Gee, that’s something I can’t imagine … … being at an outdoor concert, in an open field, and it suddenly starts to pour rain. If Adam had started on time … well, that mini hurricane became a part of the Ste.-Agathe show and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I don’t remember the Barbra concert, sorry, I was too young, but, I do remember the Diana Ross thunderstorm show. She didn’t quit, just kept going on in the storm, and tons of fans stayed.

I kinda do think those bathrobe pics were not staged. I think Adam still is surprised that his every movement is captured on film. I think down deep he still is that insecure chubby gay ginger teenager. Still thinking to himself, “why would anybody want a picture of me?” “I’m just opening my window because I took a long steamy shower and my room is all hawt and steamy.” I do think he is very savvy, and even snarky at times, but, it’s what is “Underneath” that counts.

Maybe he was already getting ready for the day, the hair looks good, the face clean and rested, the robe looks snuggly and covers everything up all nice and tidy just like he likes it.

I do love his pensive look as he looks out the window. LOL. If he was posing, he’d look more serious, his brow would be furrowed, the lips would be ducky. He’d be “acting.”

To me, he looks like he’s just calm and reflective and looking out at the scenery.

RE: the pillow. That is such a “I am NOT letting you all see my bulge any more.” I will not be objectified any more. Look how strong he looks in that pic. He is making a statement to his fans by posting it.

I do love his pensive look as he looks out the window. LOL. If he was posing, he'd look more serious, his brow would be furrowed, the lips would be ducky. He'd be "acting." To me, he looks like he's just calm and reflective and looking out at the scenery. RE: the pillow. That is such a "I am NOT letting you all see my bulge any more." I will not be objectified any more. Look how strong he looks in that pic. He is making a statement to his fans by posting it. Dammit.

ron, Streisand is coming to Israel this June for the first time and is performing 2 stadium shows. They just added the second one when the first started filling up very quickly. I have been debating about giving myself a birthday present, but anywhere remotely close to the stage would cost a serious fortune. Yes, she’s an expensive ticket if you want to see her! She was in Toronto last Fall and a front row seat cost $500.00 CND. The cheap seats went for $95.00 but sitting there she’d appear to be about 2 inches tall.

Yesterday night Justin Bieber visited the Anne Frank House, together with his friends and guards. Fans were waiting outside to see a glimpse of him. He stayed more than an hour in the museum. In our guestbook he wrote: “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

So incredibly immature and self-focused. IMHO
