Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

    OMG!! I was just thinking of the spikey shorts and how they might make an appearance in Miami!!

    Maybe Hot Stuff and Ray of Light too, for Divas who are fan faves at Pride.

    Adam’s play list is getting longer & longer. So it’s getting harder to guess what he might perform.

    And mils, TLKC & I drove to New York to hear him sing 2 songs and one was a duet! The road trip was the best, though.

    The first American Idol I followed and joined his many fan sites was Taylor Hicks. It’s strange that he is performing in Miami tonight. He’s at the Black’s gala at the Fontainebleau. It’s being headlined by Flo Rida. Odd combination but as Riskylady said raps in there. Not sure where Southern Soul fits in but Taylor will definately entertain and some may not like Whiskey tenors but the guy sings on key and will put a smile on your face. Like Adam he’s tall, kind, polite, loves his fans and is very good looking especially in person. Unlike others here I don’t like the sunglasses Adam has on(can’t see his eyes) and can’t stand hair hanging in peoples faces. But that’s just me. Can’t wait to see what he wears for the show. Mils, we didn’t have alot of songs but being so close to the stage and Adam was worth it,right?

    I am so sorry to hear of Oksana‘s passage into another realm. I too had missed her posts and wondered about her as well as RainbowGal just last week. I feel as though I’ve lost one of my friends (or perhaps a cousin), and I guess I have. I love that “we are family here”. My hope for peace goes out to her family and friends. She is no longer in pain, and that means a lot.

    Jojosie, Des Moines was so worth the drive in so many ways. The company, the roomate Wink , the dinner, the whole day, even the rain. The after party. Then there was Adam. So close. So beautiful. So out of this world vocally.

    And the chance to meet so many fans.

    I honestly cannot wait to have another trip like that again.

    Funny, I met a gal this morning at an appointment, and we got to talking, ( imagine that!) and she mentioned that she lived in Hawaii for several years, in Honolulu. So we started chatting more intently. Needless to say, I just can’t get our trip there out of my head today.

    I’m sure most of us who have traveled for Adam can share these feelings.

    Speaking of rainbow, has anybody heard from her lately? Seems like she has gone off the grid since Des Moines.

    I know I asked about her a few months ago. I don’t have her email. If anybody does, could you please just ask her how she’s doing? And her partner too. Thank you.

    JoJosie I have always liked Taylor Hicks too. He seems like such a nice guy…someone you could sit down with and have a great conversation.

    In that awful youtube video from the interview, the sound gets a little better nearer the end & you can hear someone in the audience ask him to take off his sunglasses so “we can see your beautiful eyes”. He doesn’t, though, because of the partying the night before.

    Mils, you should go ahead and post at MJ’s about Oksana’s passing. But I think if you would wait for a new Adam’s thread tomorrow I doubt MJ would bother to make one except if Adam would sing new songs or covers. She’s not doing concert threads anymore, only threads for new musics from Idols.

    So, I think headlines would be fine to post about our friend Oksana. But you can wait too maybe MJ would make new thread for Adam tomorrowSmile

    I’m just remembering when we both nearly got banned there for sharing our chicken soup recipes, getting so off topic, but we were on topic.

    Adam was sick on GN, in Europe, and we were “joking” about making him chicken soup to get him all better. To help get ze plegma out of ze tubes. What city was that?

    Anyway, we got “yelled” at pretty hard, and shared several private conversations on email and on the fansite.

    She really had a way with words. In her fabulous Broken English. Cry

    On the sunglasses, in the pic cwm posted from the FYE video they look like the same glasses, but he says to the interviewer, “my new sunglasses”. Hmmm. Well at least he’s consistent!

    Hi y’all. Still pretty upset about Oksana‘s passing. CWM, I’ll email you. Will miss her dedicated defenses of Adam. She was so funny. Called herself an old fart all the time. Please post about her on MJs Mils. She had friends there too.
    Margie, myself and two friends had dinner with littledutchess and the duke last night in Miami Beach. Had a great time. We were all asking ourselves what we were thinking of by joining an expected 80,000 people later today. Giggle Have had a long week and little sleep, have to be up in 5 hrs. riskylady and floridagirl will be here at 830am and 7 of us are going over together. We have to go early because parking is going to be almost impossible. It was hard tonight and we were not even close to the Ocean Drive side. Gonna be a long day in hot weather for an 8pm concert but I guess we’ll survive. Anything for Adam. Grin Sent a friend over to Miami Beach to get me some copies of those free mags that Adam is on the cover of and she asked me how many copies to get, like 1 or 2 and I said 20!! Hope she didn’t get arrested. lol Haven’t heard from her since. Laugh I’ll tell u all about it. Littledutchess will tell you all about what she’s already seen over there. Smile

    I just watched the full interview, so nice to be able to hear it. I adore the look here….it was nice when one of the press said he saw the FYE tour (think he meant GNT), and that out of hundreds of concerts he’s seen Adams was the best.
