I feel very sad to hear about Oksana’s passing. It is strange how the common thread of our love for Adam can bring otherwise strangers together to share that love.
I am thinking that the bracelet could have been a gift. Doesn’t really seem like something he would buy for himself?
I guess I like the gold on Adam, he is usually all about the silver. Style or pricepoint, I wonder?
But the glasses are a little much, I think.

I think it is interesting that the stubble is so dark! Wonder if his hair follicles are giving up, tired of being colored, and just said “F*ck, may as well go darker on our own so he’ll leave us alone”.
Definitely a little tummy roll there. Summer is a good time to lose weight. I broke out my juicer yesterday.

Oksana was the first poster at mj’s who became “real” to me, back in the days when I first discovered that blog and before this one existed. Her personality just shone out from her posts, a wonderful balance of snarky and good-natured and angry (when appropriate) and funny. I am surprised by the depth of my sorrow and loss today, for someone I never met in person.

Hi everyone. I just now read of Oksana’s passing away, and am truly saddened. She and I shared many emails and fanclub conversations over the years. Not recently though. I feel like a self-absorbed bad friend right now for not keeping in better touch.
We had never met, and indeed, I don’t know what her illness was, but I know that I would make a contribution in her name to a charity for it.
I know that we have shared the idea here of somehow keeping a tab on each other, or having a family member post if something serious happens to us. This is just a reminder of the need to do this. I mean, Krads went on vacation and many of us were concerned!!
I literally have tears in my eyes for Oksana as I type this. She was such an expressive person.

Adam looks incredible today in Miami, and last night too. That long shirt covers much, including a possible tummy and his chin seems to be bigger too. Hopefully this is just post-break-up weight. And, we know he is still super skinny, the camera just exaggerates.
Love everything he has been wearing, love the sheer sides to his top, love his jewelry, even the chunky necklace. Love that he recycles, and that that necklace reminds us of Queen.

Adam’s face does look rounder in these pics. But I think it’s the hair style. Much softer than high-rise. He reminds me of my “Adam Junior” a bit.

mils, In my opinion I would say yes. You post quite eloquently. Maybe in the headlines thread? My guess is most people won’t know her anyway. So many new posters over there. But see if you get any other feedback here, then make your decision.
There might be some long-timers at MJ’s who would remember Oksana, mils. Know there were some who remembered Dhunken. I see no harm in it – but, like you, would like feedback from others here.

post a thread about Adam’s Miami show or until Adam is being discussed on a thread. There would be more folks who would remember her then to share the news with. I’m sure most of the frequent Adam posters or lurkers would remember her.

Had a few “Adam” moments myself this week. I am rarely out driving around during the week but this week I was out a few times. On Monday, while visiting a small town north of here, I drove by a “Lambert” street.
Later the same day (after repairing a blown out tire on a busy highway) I heard “Shout” so I let it all out!
On Wednesday, I went to an event and when I got in my car to leave “If I Had You” was playing! I had only ever heard WWFM on the radio twice before in my small town on Vancouver Island.
And to wrap up my week, I went to a course on Friday and the instructor’s name was “Lambeth” – okay not quite Lambert but good enough for me!
Maybe I’ll try to get out more often!

Re the walking cattle part in the conference, I could just about hear. It comes from old England, when somebody was given the ‘key’ to the town it gave them the right to walk their flock/herd through the town…I remember because my father was given the key to the town where I grew up for services to the town, and that was the thing that stuck in my head.

I thought the press last week said he was bringing 17 people which including band, dancers etc…big difference to 6 songs….still any Adam is better than nothing!
ulti– I watched Adam’s interview and thought at first that the interviewer was wearing a short skirt, then decided he was probably wearing shorts. Granted, Miami is hot, so shorts would be appropriate, but then the suit jacket and the clunky shoes don’t make sense. Adam, on the other hand, was dressed impeccably well and looked just marvelous. I love the stubble and the ginger hair on the sides. Do you think that’s his natural color?
Now that I think of it, Adam wore his spikey shorts with clunky boots in that interview in Japan last summer. Only he could wear such a ridiculous combo and still look cool.
This is what I remember too. Now they say Pittsburgh is supposed to be 90 minutes with dancers, band & singers. Wonder what it will really be? Although there is a charge for the Pittsburgh show. That might be the difference.
Maybe it has something to do with timing and advance notice. Pittsburgh had a lot more lead-in time.
