Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

So sad to wake up this morning and learn about our dear Oksana I think we all knew she was sick and getting sicker but it is always a shock and a sad event. A nice lady and an avid fan. She will be missed here by us and her family and friends elsewhere. As riskylady said

The pictures out of Miami are fabulous and he’s having the best time-our world ambassador!!!; I see the crowds, oh my-

And to think cher, riskylady, little dutchess&duke, floridagirl & margie32127 will be peppered somewhere in that mob!

My greatest fear-those crowds; I really don’t do crowds well or at all and 60,000 is a few more than the crowded mall at Christmas! Wish me luck! The Duke is hoping for the best (so he won’t be in deep trouble) as he’s the one who worked at convincing me I could do this. Luval I’m with you on this- Will then decide if Pittsburgh is worth it….crowd-wise and craziness-wise! I know Adam will be worth it! The Duke is pushing to go (says he’s never been to Pittsburgh! hahah!)Pittsburgh should be a lot less crowded…so we’ll see.

AL or eyflyer, is there a way to search on the posts of a particular poster? I would like to go back and read some of Oksana’s posts in her memory? I looked through a few pages of March 2013 Chat using Control F to search on her name, but takes to long to go through over 30 pages. I found her posts at the end of February chat where she said she is still lurking but rarely the strength to post. As someone else said, AL and eyflyer should feel very good that they were able to provide this forum to those ill and bedridden as well as those who are able to enjoy Adam live.

I think the key to crowds is just focusing on your immediate space around you. Kinda like when you are propelling down a cliff you should just look at the wall in front of you, not at the bottom. (yeah, like I’ve propelled down a cliff before…but I saw this on Amazing Race and they say it works!).
So hope to hear from you littledutchess and get your honest opinion!!

jlurks, was Oksana one of the people that you so kindly gifted any DVDs? If so, you too should feel the reward of providing that gift to her in her last months. I saw her post in late February that Adam keeps her alive and that she played Underneath on repeat alot. Maybe she will now be able to keep a better eye on our boy that we do!

Feeling quiet and sad. I just woke up and read AL’s post about Oksana.
My iPad always hilited her name and indicated ‘no replacements found’.
That is the way that I feel..that she was that special. No replacement will be found.

I can’t even stand near the glass windows in those elevators that are outside a building or overlook an atrium. I stand as close as possible to the door! Extreme sports…never! 60,000+ peeps at an Adam Lambert concert.. remains to be seen!

Oh my…. I come here today with a heavy heart along with condolences that go out to Oksana’s family and other loved ones. Although I never met Oksana personally, her engaging personality shone through each and every sentence that she composed.
I loved her intelligence, spunkiness, sense of humor, and fierce passion for our boy.
I will always have fond and loving memories, especially of the fact that she would never let anything deter her from speaking her mind. Yes, her posts over at MJ’s are some of the most memorable. She never cared if strongly defending Adam would get her banned from the site. She always persevered and merely returned under a new clever alias. Remember ‘mouse’, guys? Along with the rest of us, Adam would admire her honesty, fierceness, and passion. Oksana always brought a smile to my face.

Soccermom, it seems that only administrators can search that way here. I tried using the “Search” at the top right of the page but it did not show much.

Kradamour, I emailed her niece just now and asked her to check out the blog for the posts expressing condolences concerning Oksana’s passing. I included a link to your post.
I also asked about providing an address and details if Oksana had any special requests regarding possible donations on her behalf. I will let everyone know when her niece responds.
