Having wrapped up the overseas “We Are Glamily” tour, Adam and Glamily are back in LA for some well-deserved rest. Later this month, Adam will be in Miami Beach to headline their Gay Pride event. It seems to be the first of his “a-concert-a-month” series while he works on new music. Above we see Adam enjoying his downtime lunching with Sutan. Photo from Just Jared.

    Agree, mils – Adam’s run on Idol was without precedent, and that kind of performing genius will never be seen again on that show.

    Re the big head – that is why Merv Griffin hired Vanna White for Wheel of Fortune. Her head is outsized, and apparently research backs up that this is appealing to the audience.
    Ditto for Englebert Humperdinck back in the day.
    Interesting.

    Agree re Sauli being in the past, ulti, I just thought the vid was a clever compilation, it worked well. Don’t have any more interest in the small blond one.

    I think as Adam is maturing and he has more to compare to, his taste will be different than what we expect. Even before Sauli he said he was considering someone closer to his age. I admire that. And I really think to him looks don’t count as much. I never got the attraction for Cheeks & Drake but Adam apparently did.

    I hope Adam sticks with the more healthful life style that Sauli brought to their relationship. He was very happy and healthier during their time together. Unlike some I’m not counting Sauli out of the picture yet. When their lives change and are not so busy they may find their way back to each other. I think Adam has too much substance to go out and enter another relationship really soon. Sure some dating and flirting but nothing serious. I hope not too much club hopping and drinking. I want him in the news for all the right reasons. The Miami show sounds like it will be well attended and Adam should be great. He’s rested and will be surrounded by friends on stage and thousands cheering in the crowd. Clap

    Just read on another site that Cher may be doing a duet with Lazaros on the finals of Idol. He said she reached out to him early on and is following him on twitter. He said he has communicated several times with her and hopes it will happen as does the show. I never wanted her to sing with Adam but I know some of you did. Haven’t watched Idol much this year as no one has interested me. This year is worse than seasons 6 and 9. Lots of good female singers, but no one lights up the stage. There won’t be another Adam but I think they could do better casting. Some one commented it was like the Lawrence Welk Show.LOL

    I can imagine OUR cher singing a duet with Lazaro on AI because their voices would blend very well together. Laugh

    But THE Cher singing with Lazaro on the AI finale?!

    If that was to happen it would really be a special moment but I doubt that we’re going to see it.

    But in case I’m wrong, someone (I’m not pointing any fingers) who has a 500″ TV screen, and also likes Cher,
    might consider plugging that TV in and watching it.

    Was thinking that Idol will surely have Adam singing on one of the shows this season. I wonder if he’ll get a new single out to be released when he does the show, or if he’ll dedicate another one to the Trevor Project–Would Idol let him do Outlaws of Love??

    Been watching Idol this year and have very mixed feelings. It reminds me of when my father was teaching me to play ping pong and offered to play left handed. NO! It would mean nothing to beat him if he wasn’t giving me his best game. That’s how I feel about the girls this season. There are some very talented ladies singing this year, but a win over the poor excuse of male singers just doesn’t mean much to me.

    I think Idol will regret bringing on these less than mediocre male performers when it comes time for the tour at the end of the season. Not sure there will be many who will want to sit through their performances to wait on the real talent to hit the stage.

    Of course, I couldn’t help but think of Adam when Lazaro sang Feeling Good as his last song. When you have a shaky mediocre voice, the last thing you want to do is to have it compared to one of the best male vocalists of our time.

    Yes, but unfortunately it is sad news.
    We received an e-mail late this afternoon from her niece letting us know that Oksana passed away today.

    One of your biggest fans, my aunt [Oksana] passed away
    today. She loved your music, and she loved you Adam!

    My heart sunk when I read that. She always mentioned that she was posting from her bed so I knew that she was not well. I will miss her wit and no nonsense posts and know that Adam and his music brought her comfort.
    If anyone would like more details, I can contact her niece so we can offer condolences or perhaps make a donation in her memory.

    I’m very sorry to learn of Oksana‘s passing.

    I know that her illness caused her a lot of pain.

    She is now at rest.

    I was so sorry to hear the sad news about Oksana. In her latest posts she talked about barely having the strength to hold the laptop. I remember her from my earliest days on MJs. Such a brave lady, and a true Glambert, always fearless in saying just what was on her mind. I imagine that she and Dhunken have found each other by now. Rest in Peace and no more pain. Rose

    I feel so bad. Our dear Oksana passed away. rs told me. I just mentioned to littledutchess last night that I hadn’t heard from her nor seen her posts for a while and that I’d try to find her. How coincidental that Krad mentioned her as well. Let me go find Krad’s post. I spoke to littledutchess about 930pm tonight. We were making plans for this weekend. Oksana did say she had someone who would send emails to her pals if anything ever happened to her. She really was unwell for a long time, but remained a dedicated and die hard loyal Adam fan. I wonder what her niece will do with her Adam paraphernalia. She has a gorgeous framed pic of Adam on her bedroom wall that suz526 gave her and many other Adam trinkets. Feel so sad and will miss her terribly. Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry RIP Izzy!

    I’m so sad to hear that Oksana has passed on. She was always so passionate about defending Adam over at MJ’s when there were so many detractors and she always did it in a way that made me laugh out loud. I will sorely miss her posts. My condolences to her family and friends who cherished her.

    Oh, I’m so sad to hear the news of Oksana. I too had wondered how she was doing, but it’s spooky that krad and cher specifically inquired about her last night and today. No nonsense is exactly how I remember Oksana. She spoke her mind and took no guff.

    Does anybody know what the nature of her illness was? It seems she was sick for so long. I always felt bad for her that she was never able to see Adam live due to her health problems.

    Rest in peace, Oksana. We’ll miss you. And we’ll continue to watch out for and support our beloved boy on your behalf. Rose Heart

And probably some events today too, plus tomorrow he gets the Key to the City from the Mayor! Miami will fall harder than a ripe coconut!! Take that, “rap and crap!” There are lots of beautiful people here, but NO ONE like Adam’s combination of inner and outer beauty PLUS phenomenal talent.

    Woke up this morning and heard the news about Oksana. So very very sorry. We had communicated a few times outside of the blog (e-mail & fansite) about things. A really nice person. I knew she was sick but when I didn’t see her post I kind of thought something was very wrong.

    Yes, a HUGE Adam fan. Am very sorry she could not see him in person. R.I.P.

    I see from looking at all those pics posted from Miami Adam is with his crew, including Rob his tour manager. There are a couple of photos with an Afro-American guy very near Adam who seems to be “looking out for him”…maybe a bodyguard?
    Looks to be like a wonderful time! Adam seems tanned (spray?) and very very happy. I almost wish I had decided to go but we will hear everything from the girls!…and guy Duke! Will then decide if Pittsburgh is worth it….crowd-wise and craziness-wise! I know Adam will be worth it!

    By the way, didn’t notice the zebra pants. Must have missed them since I can’t stop looking at his face.
