About those baggy pants, my housemate has been wearing them since they first came in style and is very happy that they are in style again as she has quite a collection. She calls them harem pants. I have tried on a few but they don’t compliment my stature so think I will stick with the skinny jeans along with luval and Kradamour. They also don’t compliment Adam’s stature but for completely different reasons.
Thanks for the Seskia videos, nkd. Very “kitchen sink theatre” quality but seems to be the point. Video versions of candid papparrazzi snapshots. Finland probably doesn’t have enough celebrities to support full time papps. Seskia has very cleverly cornered the Finnish market on celeb candids and probably gets a lot of hits. I bet any celebs can submit but Sauli is hot at the moment so he gets paid to do regular instalments.
Very unstructured but deliberate. Don’t know if that was Adam’s voice but, in that context, the laugh and speculation about it would be gold.
RE: Finnish interview. In the translation it says Sauli had angina? I think that must be incorrect. Sweet of Adam to go to the pharmacy for him. This and the bagels. WOW what a wonderful EX our BB is.
Just read about this new movie featuring a devoted Woody Allen fan who also happens to be a professional (a Parisian pharmacist). Her dedication is so great that she can’t help seeing the world through the filter of his amazing wonderfulness. It struck me as particularly apropos to a certain group of fans
and I am definitely checking it out this weekend (when I’m not on here flailing over Miami Pride videos.)

In Canada, angina is a very serious heart problem. Ahhh, the broken english…
I know. Here, too, angina pectoris is the serious heart problem, but there is throat angina which can be strep or tonsillitis.
I thought that angina thing was weird in the interview, in England as well it is a serious heart problem. I like the things Sauli had to say about the ‘breakup’. Seems they’re both happy.

And TLKC, rs was right. In Finnish “angiina” is a bad bacterial throat infection. Translator gave it options tonsillitis, angina, pharyngitis. Misleading… I know what angina pectoris is but only doctors use that word here.

) but I can’t help thinking is this what Adam wanted…

People on twitter kept bringing up the statement that Adam calls whatever is happening next his “project”. Not cd or album. Not sure what all that means but maybe peeps reading into his words a little too deeply.
I think it ain’t that deep.
What is an album if not a project?
Fans are getting restless when they focus on stuff like that.
Throw us a bone, Adam! Something about the music, the collaborators, the direction…it will keep us out of trouble and keep us from making stuff up… (mostly)

Let’s hope the “project” actually is an EP or a bunch of singles. That’s a strategy that has worked for several singers lately, release a single, then another, then an EP.

I would much rather see it go like this, than wait another 2 years for our beloved perfectionist to release new music.
On my way home from work today they played a gorgeous song, with a strong female voice. I wondered who it was…then the song reader on my radio ( I love my new car ) said it was Emilie Sande. I remember checking her out after Adam mentioned her in London last year, all I can say is WOW! What a voice. It just comes out at you so clear. This is who I would absolutely love to hear Adam work with.
Well – those tweets I posted a coupla pages ago seem to be rather on point. Thought they were just part of the rumor mill, but guess not.

Approve VERY much the idea of getting music out ASAP – whatever it is. Still at a low-grade boil remembering his singing his heart out at all those radio stations – they just wanted hits – and then ignoring him. Gotta find a way around the shut-out.
Okay, so, I’ll say something that may not be popular…HA, like that’s ever stopped me!
Adam is going to be seen with tons of guys and tons of gals. That’s who he is, and it’s what he does. He’s a social fella.
There will be shitloads of paps pics, and tons of speculation about who he’s with, who he’s dating, who he’s sleeping with.
I also would not be surprised at all to see him linked with women.
The press makes much about his bi-curious-ness.

That statement he made about having slept with a woman happened during his relationship with Sauli. I’m sure many of us thought about it, but I don’t remember commenting on it.
I’m not saying he’ll get with a woman, I’m just saying that there could even be speculation about it. And it wouldn’t surprise me.
All in all, like I’ve said many times, “Win-Win” even if it is rumor mill media, it’s still media, still your name and gorgeous pics in the news. Adam being considered a hot “get” is all good.

Adam has said that he isn’t “bi-curious” (using the term), but has also said that “sexy is sexy”, and that he has made out with women in bars, especially after he has had a few. Agree with your prediction that toutes sortes of shit is gonna hit the fan, made into mountains by gentle souls like Perez, while Adam just tries to live his life.
Re the music – I think that Adam has made his magnum opus and would be comfortable with just putting music out there more piecemeal. I got the impression that he really wanted to create something amazing after the hurried FYE, and he did that. Nothing more to prove there, just gotta put out music to make a living in the way that he wants to.
Also love that he is so open to the idea of non-music projects after this next batch of music. I hope that it isn’t because he has been turned off by the music industry and what it did (or didn’t do) with Trespassing. I have never heard him say so positively that he intended to pursue a nonmusic project. But lately there have been quite a few mentions of liking the idea of a movie/TV show/whatever, and he even specified comedy a bit ago.
Actually, Adam could star in a sitcom that mirrored his own life and it would be awesome. Boy has had a fascinating trajectory!
