Okay, but here is how I have learned to read Adam “speak”.
REALLY good friends….cliche….I GAVE him… Those kind of clues should send you straight to urban dictionary…..plus I can’t imagine coffee and bagels as something proving a really good friendship. Hee Hee. Have got to say it is always entertaining!

I am so naive. Yes, I thought when Adam said he gave Sauli a coffee and bagel that morning, that he actually gave him a coffee and bagel that morning. And that for some reason he felt the need to be specific about what food he had offered to Sauli in friendship. LOL
So, did our boy actually just tell the South Florida Gay News, IN CODE, that he and Sauli had just had sex that morning? OMG that is so hilarious, but I would not put it past him. And what’s even funnier is that nobody picked up on it (publicly at least) until Eber, HIS FATHER, referenced a “euphemism.”
Between the hilarious “Him?” and “Turbulent” chokehold photos Adam posted, and learning that they are apparently friends with benefits, I feel much better now.
Adam is, and will remain, the best ever.

luval – you wondered what the “Him?” picture might be in reference to. My take is that it’s Adam’s and Sauli’s tongue-in-cheek response to all of the finger-pointing going on in the fandom about who is at fault in the break-up.
The “turbulence” chokehold is a dig at the tabloids for bringing up the 2011 Helsinki incident and calling their relationship “turbulent at times.”
Perfect response, IMO, to diffuse fandom angst and tabloid sensationalism. Brilliant, Adam!
I think the fandom is MUCH happier tonight. Everyone on my feed is having a field day with the photos and the coffee and bagel reference.

… nkd … I’m back … not because of a quickie but just saw your post to answer. I’ll try my best … my head hurts so badly .. Hope I’m not sick from travelling.
I’m up North in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
I hadn’t had coffee all day yesterday because we had to go to the boarder up in Myanmar to extend our visa. We had to leave the country (Thailand) and come back in the country to get a visa stamped.
It was a five hours up there and five hours back down through some mountains. We left home early and got back late at night.
When we came back from Singapore to Bangkok we got a month long visa to stay in Thailand. We will be fined if we overstay so we have to go out to extend our visa. That also reminded me that I saw Adam in Singapore a month ago.
I need coffee … real coffee.

How close they are together!!!
I’m still shocked, sad, heartbroken, dazed and confused about their break up.
I’m disoriented.
Oh Yes!!! … I’m still Asian !!!
I couldn’t sleep and had shed my tears .. first for both of them, then for Adam and then for Sauli … and then more for Sauli.
Adam is fine, very fine. He has millions of devoted fans. He has been through break ups before and they’ve enriched his life. I feel less worried for this son.
My son-in-law, Sauli … Oh Well !! .. I cried my eyes out .. thinking (or Projecting my own experience) he was the one who left his homeland, family and friends to be with Adam. His position is more complicate to understand than what people know unless you’re in his shoes.
Now I’m glad that they are both fine. But deep inside I’m still sad. Lesson learnt …. not to get into other people’s beeswax, not to expect or assume anything I don’t really know about.
I was shocked even though I knew the relationship could not be forever, but I’d like to see it lasted longer. They are friends with benefits now.
During the break up news, I was busy with my RL and didn’t have much time to read and digest the news.

To comfort you, I think Sauli will be fine, because of his positive attitude of life. Yes he left his home country and it was tough then, but he feels now LA is his home and he has a lot of friends there. I was a bit worried of his career, but now it looks like he’s getting more opportunities.
I just heard that Sauli will be doing a video blog of his life (daily!) for a Finnish mag Seiska he has video blogged before too. I think he couldn’t have done that, if he was in a relationship with Adam. I am not very thrilled of that mag, but I think if you want to get into the entertainment biz, you have to start somewhere. And that deal means he can stay in LA…

And btw, the press in Finland has followed their break up a lot, and no trash except one (which usually doesn’t write about them). They have been polite and a very nice news of the pics Adam tweeted. This helps fandom here. Especially Sauli’s fans have taken this very hard.

Well these photos make a happy day, I guess. Yesterday I said sometimes a tweet is just a tweet. Well, sometimes coffee and a bagel can be MORE than a coffee and a bagel.
I still think Adam’s intent in the interview was to make the break sound as casual as possible in hopes of avoiding a dust-up, media-wise, fanwise. He didn’t mean to sound trite, just to send a signal that they are still friendly enough to share space and talk the small stuff without recrimination.
Sorry if I was too hard on you on Friday ulti, but I was SOOOOOOOOOO sad and I imagined that Adam was feeling the same way. There were probably some tears in there at some point but they obviously worked out their feelings weeks ago and both are in solid recovery.
The thing that struck me most this morning was Eber’s tweet. Imagine being able to have a conversation like that with your Dad? LOLSY
I went for a 10-mile walk on Sunday (it was a very nice day) and thought about a lot of stuff, but this was definitely in there. Decided to take Adam’s words at face value. It was a gradual understanding between both of them that the relationship was changing. Since we will never know what happened, we might as well accept that it is exactly the way it looks. And it looks not too bad at all.
