Adam has apparently wrapped up his US radio promo tour, at least for the moment, as April begins. Above we see Adam as he spent the last several weeks – hard at work with promo. This is (hopefully) finally the last month – for real – before Adam’s new “Trespassing” album will be released. The album is scheduled to drop on May 15. Will we get a second single ahead of the album release date? Will Adam perform on American Idol sometime in the next several weeks? We’ll know soon – in the meantime enjoy the chat!

    Just made a reservation for the night of May 27 – one family member already wants to go – have emails out to the rest of the gang. May get crowded – lol. (Well, I’m only about 30 minutes from home.)

    On an earlier call I asked how many rooms were available for booking, and the agent wasn’t sure, but said there was a limited number.

    I finally got around to viewing all the videos from Jimmy Kimmel. NCOE, Trespassing, Broken English, and Cuckoo were all amazing and electrifying performances. I have to say that my absolute fav of the night was Naked Love. OMG!! Adam’s performance of this was incredibly adorable. It is such a fun song, and it is easy to see that he is going to love performing it on tour night after night. His expressions and mannerisms throughout the song were priceless.In Love

    I mentioned this before. Is anyone going to go to this event in NY on May 20th? Adam is one of the group of performers. After the Kimmel performance, I wonder if Adam will steal the show. Wish he’d come to the Orlando area.

    There’s the Potomac Ballroom with a big stage and smallish jumbotrons on the side – think that’s where the concert will be, Krad? 50,000 sq. ft. – lots of what look like movable chairs. Maybe I’ll call and ask where it’ll be and do you need to stand on line to get a good seat, etc. Whatcha think?

    OK I’m in, The girl I talked too said she had been booking these packages all day. lol I went ahead and said 4 for my room because the cost is no different. Not sure if my son will go or not. My daughter just said she wished she wasn’t planning a trip to NY, that we would have had a night away with the kids. She said Adam has bad timing.

    I have to say that my absolute fav of the night was Naked Love.

    ITA with this dcglam. My favorite too. This song IMO has “the sound” that would fit in better with what’s being played on the radio now–better than any of his other new songs that we’re familiar with. However, he may have a problem getting it played because of the Naked title and wording. I’m just speaking of the overall sound of the song as far as fitting in with popular music such as Top 40.

    This is annoying – ran down to go on the treadmill and switched on the TV and it was the end segment of Fox News 5. Had a segment on Idol and Elise Testone’s being eliminated. Then it showed Queen’s being on and a voice said Adam Lambert would be singing with them this summer, but they showed the guy from the Tribute Band that was on last night. Dopes.

    Rihanna seems to be one of the darlings of Pop right now. The reason I have the opinion that Adam may possibly not be able to get Naked Love played is that there definitely seems to be a wide gap/double standard between what others are allowed to do and what Adam (as a male) may be allowed to do. I have hopes that he has come far enough that the gap will narrow. And soon—because I want to hear Naked Love on my radio and see him sing it on the big screen.

    ETA: Now I’m gone to get some sleep. Gnite.

    Also added the Poland and Freshtival concerts to the upcoming shows listing. That widget in the upper right corner is limited to the next five shows (so as to not bump everything else too far down the screen), so that’s why the second London show fell off.

    The shows are really multiplying now, I think it’s time to work on a concert map for the Trespassing era.

    Had the same reaction when I heard a recording of CLYG in the distance at one of his concerts. Had to have it and I finally did by buying it in Europe. CD’s are not as compressed digitally as iTunes, etc., and sound so much better. Always buy opera and other classical music on CD’s.

    Kradamour – yes I DO need a spot in one of the Gaylord rooms! If there is an open spot in your Cuckoo room, I’ll take it! Or if it would be better for me to be in a different room or to reserve an additional room, that’s fine too – just lemme know.

    So far, we have how many rooms reserved among us? 3? That will accommodate 12 people then, including 6 of us here and ultimathule’s and glambotgram’s family members. Is that enough?

    Is anyone else thinking about or planning to come?

    At this point, we should probably take this DC planning discussion to the Spring/Summer concert thread that eywflyer set up for just such a purpose and not clog up this main chat thread with our planning details. I see that planning for the WB show is already happening there:

    Kradamour, I’m still chuckling over your crate of mags being delivered. I phoned to order my Instinct Magazine, and the guy on the other end of the line repeated several times, “1 Magazine for $7.95”, just so we knew we were on the same page. If you do end up with more than one Russian magazine, I’ll be happy to take one from you.

    I’m hoping my magazine arrives before I leave on holidays; otherwise, my neighbour, who is picking up my mail, is going to wonder about the diverse Adam material potentially arriving while I’m away (Instinct, ?Fault, hopefully tickets to Apollo, etc.)

    Hi NorthernSpirit and Glambotgram and cwm. Did I miss someone? Danielle looks gorgeous! And it looks like Sauli and Adam have pretty similar hair now. At least the color.

    Wish I could go to Freshtival but am working that Sunday and Monday the holiday. But I’m seeing him at Springleball and WB. I should save my money for the tour. Naked love is such a fun song. Everyone I send it to agrees.

    Look who we bumped into tonight? I could not end the night any better than this tonight as I ran into Adam who looked as if he had been reborn into healthiness. His skin glowed, he appeared in great shape, nails done, in a great mood, and ready to be photographed for his fans. Adam spoke with myself and a video guy about his future and the amazing projects he has in the works. All I can say is “Hold On” everyone because I think that Adam is about to take the world by the reigns and change the way we hear and know music.

    I look forward to bringing you all more photos and news from him again as soon as I see him.

    While laying in bed the other night trying to stay awake to see and hear Adam on Jimmy K, I thought of an old camp song. “Boom,Boom Aint It Great To Be Crazy.” It became more fitting in my mind after reading about Kradamour’s magazine dilemma. I wonder if I could get rewrite credit if I just changed a word in the chorus to Cuckoo instead of Crazy and add night to the third line. Kradamour could sing the lead, but she’d have some pretty strong competition. Boom,Boom ain’t it great to be cuckoo. Silly Boom,Boom ain’t it great to be cuckoo.
