Adam has apparently wrapped up his US radio promo tour, at least for the moment, as April begins. Above we see Adam as he spent the last several weeks – hard at work with promo. This is (hopefully) finally the last month – for real – before Adam’s new “Trespassing” album will be released. The album is scheduled to drop on May 15. Will we get a second single ahead of the album release date? Will Adam perform on American Idol sometime in the next several weeks? We’ll know soon – in the meantime enjoy the chat!

    This is crazy. I have 3-D glasses. The only things that look 3-D, though are the audience heads. But it is cool!

    So since the WB and DC shows are only a couple of days and a couple hundred miles apart, who is planning to attend both?

    I’m looking forward to meeting whoever can make it to the DC show! So far it sounds like ultimathule, dcglam, glambotgram, and I are planning to go. How about adamized and Kradamour? Anyone else who is going to WB and can also drop down to DC? Smile

Do you have any recommendations? I thought I’d try that Best Western that some of us are staying at, but first I need to get my hands on a ticket.

    Hotel packagea are already available – but I assume that attendees needn’t stay at the hotel. Will there be tickets to buy? Or is it just a park thing available to all? My virgo self is NOT happy with just a little bit of information! I want full information and the ability to buy a ticket NOW, please.

    Gonna go out on a limb and say that Adamized will attend, too; she lives very near also.

    Re the Russian mag…I was wrong! I read the shipping notice too quickly. Looks like 70 pounds of Instinct is coming! WTF? That order form was in my native language lol and if I did that wrong and got the Russian cyrillic correct…!
    Well, I’ll just see what turns up. It’s all good.

    Oksana, I only ordered one Dorian, it arrived quite a while ago, it is GORGEOUS! Highly recommended. I also bought the app for my iPad so that I can have the gorgeousness on my iPad. Instinct has an iPad app, also. The app magazine versions are $2.99 each.

    turquoise, we have two tickets to Wilkes Barre. Balcony row L. Let me know if you are interested. Not fabulous seats but better than what is currently available from the venue. They are yours for what we paid if you want them.

    Lyndsay Parker interviewed Brian May and Roger Taylor after the Idol results show on Thursday and this is what they said about Adam and their collaboration with him.

    When asked what fans can expect from that understandably much-hyped collaboration, Roger exclaimed, “Fireworks!” And Brian expounded: “Something different. [Adam] has an extraordinary voice, there’s no way you can get around that–whether you love him or hate him. He’s extraordinary. So we’ll be exploring new ways to do things. We don’t like to just reproduce what we did before; we like to move on and try new ways of doing stuff. So it will be exciting!”

    cwm Oh she definitely told me to go, ages almost 3 and 5 months. The baby would sleep through it and the 3 year old would dance her little heart out. I am more concerned about the decibel level for them. But I will check out the venue. Maybe I can just go to the Harbor and get close.

    When I spoke with the guy from the radio station today, he mentioned to me that the festival would be “kid friendly” in that they would have activities/places for little ones. It is suppose to be a “family type” atmosphere. Just so you know….Wink

    Gotta say, I love what gets created when Adam and Sam Sparro work together. Think about it – Voodoo, Shady, and Broken English are the 3 songs they’ve written together. Each one of them among my very favorites.

    Awww can’t go to Washington. Had to pull teeth to be able to get to WB! Just can’t believe how many shows he has in barely over a week!

    Don’t know what I expected but there was something on ADQ that mentioned no bump in itunes after last night’s show. On too late IMO.

    Hmmm, that is not the information I was given on the phone today unless they decided to change things. I was told that ticket information should be coming out within the next week. Maybe this guy really didn’t know all the deets at the time I called. He mentioned that they would be running a contest for chances to win tickets, but they could be purchased as well. He added that there will be different ticket packages — one option being if you want to hook up a stay at the Gaylord Hotel. I’m waiting to hear about other options????

    cwm, I love Sam Sparro, and he is such a complement to Adam. Sam is smooth, Adam edgy, the combination is so much more than 1 + 1.
    Bought Sam Sparro’s last album and play it a LOT.

    It says:

    Maximum of 4 people per room; number of occupants must be confirmed at the time of booking as no additional event tickets will be available. Extra tickets are not available outside of the package.

    Hmmm. This probably requires a phone call to the station for clarification, and then if it’s true, we should figure out the plan pretty quick. The way it’s stated, it sounds like it’s $249 for up to 4 people, rather than a per person price.

    dcglam, thanks. I guess we’ll just have to be patient. Gah! It is always last minute with Adam! Why can’t we get a long-range plan so we can do long-range planning??? For some silly reason they seem to only expect locals at these things who don’t need to make major travel plans!

    I might reserve a room for four just in case, even though we all have homes nearby. I’ll check to see if it is a refundable reservation. BRB.

    The Jimmy Kimmel videos are amazing! I am so excited about the Wilkes Barre concert. I can hardly wait. Then when I finally tore myself away from the videos, I saw that there is going to be a DC concert on 5/27. I live about 40 minutes from the National Harbor. So I’ll be joining the trek from Wilkes Barre to DC that weekend. This is going to be great.

    As for the back up singers, I found them to be a little distracting in NCOE, but figure that they’ll blend in better as they work together longer. Remember how bad the dancers were with the initial promos prior to GNT? By the time they went on tour, they were really good. I also think that Adam is at a point now where he should have live back up singers rather than back up tracks like he did on the GNT. The divas look like they’re really enjoying themselves. As for the key board player, all I can say is…wow!

    I will be flying across the country for the DC show and will need a room, so will be happy to stay at the hotel with whomever would like to stay with me. I’ll need to stay in either the concert hotel or my conference hotel, so it may as well be the concert hotel. Smile

    P.S. I’m a good roomie and I don’t snore. Smile

    Okay, peeps, here is the deal for the Freshtival.
    You have to book a room. No tickets will be sold. The radio station will have a few for contests, but none will be available for sale. (at least not legitimately)

    Hotel guests may not bring in anyone else.

    The room is $253/night plus $24.96 tax plus $4 service fee = $277.96. Up to four people can stay in the room. Parking is $24. There is a check out fee of $15.

    Cancellation possible until May 17. After that, no refunds. Payment in full at time of reservation.

    This Memorial Day weekend enjoy great entertainment, food, drinks, music and fun on the beautiful outdoor grounds overlooking the Potomac river . This jam packed event will include a musical performance from a National recording Adam Lambert and Scars on 45 and other Fresh Faces Fresh Music names! I guess that’s what they call “going to great lengths”. My travel plan must be the most awkward way ever to to fold an Adam concert into a justifiable trip.

    BTW, there is no requirement that anyone actually stay in the room. You just have to have a reservation.

    Whew, Kradamour!! Thanks for taking care of all of that. It’s good that we have a couple of weeks to confirm our plans. I’m going to need to figure out if I’m going solo or with my husband.     glambotgram, you will get an error code, it is so new that even the reservations peeps didn’t know about it when I called. You will have to call and make the reservation until the website gets straightened out.

    I spent 45 minutes trying to make the reservation, with three different agents!

    Congrats to all of you east coasters.

    I’m not even trying for the Chicago thing. He’s just one of the performers, not the headliner. It has the usual Jingle Ball line-up, with Flo Rida, etc. I’m not dealing with all that crap. I’ll hold out.
