Adam has apparently wrapped up his US radio promo tour, at least for the moment, as April begins. Above we see Adam as he spent the last several weeks – hard at work with promo. This is (hopefully) finally the last month – for real – before Adam’s new “Trespassing” album will be released. The album is scheduled to drop on May 15. Will we get a second single ahead of the album release date? Will Adam perform on American Idol sometime in the next several weeks? We’ll know soon – in the meantime enjoy the chat!

    cwm, thats must have been yesterdays newspaper (its fri here now). I haven’t seen it, I don’t buy newspapers, unless like last week my daughter wanted to make paper mache…I will have to ask around and see if anyone has a copy.

    interesting article nkd, I agree with the commenter lottaspots though, that I didn’t like the fact he was implying adam was effeminate…

    Adam Lambert is set to perform his new single “Never Close Our Eyes” for the first time tonight on the outdoor stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

    This from Adam’s FB page about an hour ago. Did we already know for sure, for sure it was going to be NCOE?

    And, I forgot to copy this part: “Tune in at 12:00 AM EDT on ABC. You won’t want to miss it”!

    dcglam, I am so excited too. I’m going out to a movie at 7, so I will miss Idol tonite. But I’ll be back here for the flailing. I’m in Central time, so it’s 11-12 for me.

    Whatever time it’s on, I’ll be watching.

    Kradamour, thanks for the hearing protection advice. I think I’ll give these a try for London. I always where ear protection when I go to concerts, regardless of where I’m sitting because I have a hearing loss and can’t really afford to lose anymore of my hearing. Up until now, I’ve use the beige-coloured beige ones, which I thought have worked fine. They don’t block the sound out too much, just the high-pitched screaming around me (LOL) and the higher frequencies. I’ll let you know how I like these.

    Re: Virginia, I’ll get in touch with you once I find out which day we’re going into Washington. We want to sign up for a personal tour that we can arrange from our resort. I’m not sure what day we’ll be able to get. Then I’ll know better how to plan my week down there. I’m glad you’re flexible.

    I’ve lost my access to the coding….where has it gone?

    re: earplugs, I bought mine at my local music store. They were comfortable and excellent. I only needed them if close to an amp. I’ve used them many times now.

    Jicama in my juice sounds interesting! Thanks for the idea.

    Kimmel: Last year when Gaga was on, they had one song live from outside, then a whole concert later on his website. And lots of ninja video. Her set was almost an hour if I remember. Maybe it will be on live online?

    Hi everybody!! My daughter heard adam’s song on the radio today!!!! We were both squealing! We live in New York and she heard it on 103.5. Also very happy for everyone going to see Adam. Wish I could go too but RL does not allow it. Cannot wait to see Adam tonight!!

    Awww I couldn’t stand it another minute. Just listened to soundcloud Underneath. Had it bookmarked and couldn’t resist the temptation. But other than that, I’ve been Trespassing snippet free for many days now.

    Well, Stefano is kinda cute. But that’s it!

    Also I thought the Queen extravaganza was a hot mess. During the contest & the clips of Mark (lead singer) I felt he was an ok singer, but I don’t know what happened. And still no stage presence…absolutely none.

    luval I didn’t really care for it, but my DH who is a big queen fan liked it a lot. He said all the back up vocals sounded more like the original Queen. I told him Adam was soo much better. LOL

    I’m afraid that Queen and Adam won’t schedule a North American concert as long as that tribute band is touring. Grrr.. What a poor substitute for the real thing!

    I like the setlist, but I would rather listen to Chokehold or Underneath than Broken English.
    I hope that Adam sang Trespassing the same way like on NNN.

    I agree Oksana! And if this is the setlist, closing with Cuckoo is relevant I think. Usually a closer is the next single. IMO Yes! love Cuckoo.

    Don’t throw tomatoes but Broken English is not a favorite of mine. But I’ll wait for the cd (or Adam singing this live) before I’ll give up on it.

    And it will be great to hear a plugged-in live version of NCOE for the first time too!

    God I’m excited. Can you tell??

    It’s funny to hear some of you say that you don’t like Broken English as much, because I adore that song with all of my being. I love everything about it and it puts me in a whole ‘nother state when I listen to it. Funny how music is so subjective!

    I never expected Underneath to make the setlist for this JK concert. I think keeping it more upbeat is the way to go for this event. I bet we hear NCOE in full and probably Trespassing as they go off the air. Gosh I hope they put it all up on the JK show site.

    Ditto, cwm! “Broken English” and “Shady” are the two snippets I listen to most, closely followed by “Underneath.” The lyrics in “Broken English” are just so clever, from what I can tell from the bit we’ve gotten to hear. Plus, I love how Adam lets loose and wails away in it. Can’t wait for Kimmel!

    So I listened to Broken English (thanks, glambotgram). Hmmmmmm. Still doesn’t do it for me. Oh well, can’t like them all! Who knows. It may grow on me.

    Maybe it’s the word “Broken”. Broken Open was not one of my favorites either. Smile
