Adam has apparently wrapped up his US radio promo tour, at least for the moment, as April begins. Above we see Adam as he spent the last several weeks – hard at work with promo. This is (hopefully) finally the last month – for real – before Adam’s new “Trespassing” album will be released. The album is scheduled to drop on May 15. Will we get a second single ahead of the album release date? Will Adam perform on American Idol sometime in the next several weeks? We’ll know soon – in the meantime enjoy the chat!

    From this article, it looks like Brian London and Kevin Hastings worked together, both as keyboardists, in Rihanna’s band.

    The fact that Brian and Kevin have worked together and Brian connected Kevin with Adam suggests to me that everything is cool. My guess: Adam wanted Brian to be primary musical director, Brian was unavailable during this recent promo period and connected Adam with Kevin, who filled in temporarily. Now Brian is available, so he’s the primary.

    It’s really cool that Adam keeps his old friends close and call upon them when he needs their help. Adam and Brian have been friends for years, even before Adam became famous. Things seem to be heating up and I can’t wait to see his upcoming performances.

    little dutchess, I did the river cruise from St.Petersburg to Moscow in 2009 and it was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it. One suggestion, though, if you are into art, like I am and want to see the Hermitage, don’t depend on the cruise tour to satisfy you. I went a day early, bought a ticket on the internet so I didn’t have to wait in line at all, and spent hours there with the Matisses, etc that I had studied in college and had dreamt for 40 years of seeing. It was a good thing, too, beause the 2 hours that the cruise tour spent there didn’t even get up to the floor with the Impressionist art.

    eta. But I would still love to meet you and the Duke if there is a concert with Adam and Queen in the UK during the week of July 2-9.

    Of course he knows that his fans are his livelihood so there is that. But he is also in a unique position to genuinely understand how hurtful these supposedly funny “weirdo”/”old”/”fat” labels are that some people love throwing around.

    Fascinating pic – reminds me of that great shot from three (?) years ago, where he’s lying on his back in what looks like a castle, dressed like Prince Valiant, with his finger touching the tip of his nose. There’s something red in the picture, I think.

    Hehe, maybe MJ saw a battle brewing in the distance…..here’s one comment that so far went unanswered, but the argument continued about the WGWG and Adam would have been dragged in somehow….

    Yes for sure. Not only do you make more money winning, but better promotion coming off the win. When you go season by season, most the winners were the most successful with the exception of S2: Clay, but Ruben was also very successful, and neither have done that great in sales lately; S5: Daughtry no question; S8: Kris and Adam almost equal success; S9: Lee and Crystal fairly equal.

    Been absent for a while. My mother was in the hospital all last week, finally diagnosed with several bad things. Many thanks to those who checked in on me, it meant a lot to be remembered and to receive your kind words.

    Glad to see a new thread – I’ll give up on the March one for now and go back and peruse past posts when I can, but I’ll try to stay up to date on this month’s chat.

    So pleased with my local HAC station! They played BTIKM twice within 3 hours today – both during prime late afternoon/early evening time slots. Love hearing BTIKM come on the radio! Smile

    I just wish this station was monitored by Mediabase. (We’re kind of a small market, so only our Top 40 station is monitored by Mediabase.)

    He talks at some length about being single vs. being in a relationship, and how each of those relate to the light and dark sides of the album, which is interesting.

    He also gives advice to someone having an interpersonal difficulty that if someone is toxic in your life, sometimes it’s best to say “peace out” and cut them out of your life; even though it’s hard and you feel bad about it, sometimes you have to think of yourself first. Hmmm.
