    My brother just called me to say Adam was on the Ellen show (I missed it) as the fake DJ. He thinks he looks 10 years younger without the scruff.

    No I don’t, ultimathule. Am getting used to it. As long as the mustache isn’t too dark.

    Just spent the last hour watching the videos from last night. Still have an hour to go!

    I noticed when I listened to Love Kills when Adam gives his little talk about Queen’s new re-mastered album due out later this year he says Love Kills “on this album in a whole new way”. I definitely got the idea that Adam would be singing it. Probably am wrong. Smile

    Two days rest.

    I think it’s time for a Super Bowl push.

    Thank you for all judges…intermediate and final three..Randy, Paul and Simon..THANK YOU AMERICAN IDOL. We would never have this amazing singer in our lives if not for them.

    Yes – Idol, luval – can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched that audition – and the Mario Lopez before-and-after one from Great Day, with Lopez’s saying Adam has a stage presence in RL – so much fun to watch and seems so long ago.

    The Vancouver, B.C. concert, he was mustache free, except for a very slight shadow. When he came out, he looked so young, and fresh.
    The other scruff had been cut very close. Go And take a look. In Love

    Love the scruff – it enhances his jawline. The moustache is aging but it probably ramps up his badass appeal for the older Queen fans.

    luval mentioned concern for when Adam goes back to “his” band. I’ve thought a lot about that too. He’s really living the life right now – fronting one of the best bands ever, private jets and who knows what else! aely had a very interesting thought in LA – what if Rufus drummed for Adam and John Deacon’s son played guitar (not sure which one she was talking about, he has 4-5 sons). How cool would that be!

    RE: Adam’s next band – the main thing is that the musicians keep pace with his amazing voice. IF Rufus is good enough then it would be terrific. (I think he’s very cute and funny and I like him.)

    The John Deacon’s son idea is a bit out there. Adam’s already dealing with “Queen Lite” comments. Adding Queen Kids to the mix would be asking for it. Unless the kid is absolutely amazing, in which case, no argument.
