BTIKM ? Lucky audience !!! I can relate to that song more than to “Whataya want from me”… even though I think that BTIKM is a bit of a sleepy song.. but still great to perform live..
@nkd… about the security message… What I don’t quite understand is that governments in Russia, Singapore and Indonesia are not really that gay friendly.. but still allow Adam to perform as long as he conforms to the general performance rules…
or maybe because of the American Idol label ? or because it is just business ?
In previous shows in South Africa last year, Adam ‘s show had a very gay vibe, and I still remember Adam’s gayish outfit when he was performing at some Australian gay pride event… So I don’t get it why those homophobic governments are still allowing Adam to perform in their country. Maybe there are some closeted Glamberts in the government ?

Yes, very impressive – the Moscow playlist has 152 videos! She is one busy lady. It makes looking for videos easier for me that is for sure but I don’t have the time to view every single one. Maybe once the concerts are over and I am feeling nostalgic…

LOL. I totally get what you are saying, even if I am quite a big Muse fan. Their need always have 17 layers and grandiose instrumentation is to me just their way of camp. Not sure how to explain it, but I see quite a bit of humor in their style. And it certainly works in a big arena. The music styles I can’t stand are country and anything esoteric/new age. Those supposedly relaxing space sounds drive me straight up the wall.

Mils Are you there.I agree with you all that that State Dept advisory was scary and disturbing, but it makes me all the more proud of Adam for his courage, fortitude, and grace. And his ability to put on a relaxed, joyful, loving, spectacular show under threat of violence. He is truly an ambassador for embracing our differences and loving each other with courage and an open heart.
That said, I’m so glad he’s in Finland with Sauli now, having probably just arrived on the train a few minutes ago.

I love that he sang BTIKM. I was wondering if we would ever hear it again. And I love this version – it sounds great. He seemed genuinely pleased to be singing it again and pleased with the crowd’s reaction. Makes me all happy inside.
