Day two in the “Trespassing” radio concert tour finds Adam in Boston for the KISS Concert 2012.
Last time he performed for the Boston crowd, KISS 108 gave him a great intro.
Adam is scheduled to appear at 5:50 PM and will probably play a set similar to yesterday.
However, today we have a live stream so will be able to see and hear him perform LIVE!!

Adam is in a different league from all the others in this show.

Was scanning the crowd when the camera was panning and there were many many I Love Adam signs! Wonder what the capacity is there?
He brings sophistication to the “pop” world. It’s interesting to see the other “pop” acts out there right now. Andy Grammer is up next then Adam Lambert!
Wonder what the temperature is there right now? Very warm in the Northeast but no humidity. I’m thinking he really can’t wear a jacket. It would look dumb in this heat. Maybe the neon shirt from Idol. Or I’d love the flowing white shirt. Probably didn’t bring that on the bus…Which brings up…are they limo-ing it or busing , rv-ing, plane?
Like Grammer – on my iPod – but this is sorta boring.
Speaking of neon shirts. If a person really wanted to dress in Trespassing colors it would be easy. I saw tons of neon yellow when I was shopping today. Adam is on the cutting edge.

I wonder if he said “fuck” by mistake the first time in Cuckoo because it was kind of muffled the second time. 7 songs…getting closer to a real concert! He was excellent as usual but I didn’t like that tee shirt.
Trespassing was so clear I almost (shame on me) thought it was the cd playing!

This is one of the first shows that I heard Adam talking(?), shouting(?) to the sound guy(s). He didn’t seem too happy. Guess he does it in other shows but I never noticed. They have to remember he’s the HBIC and he wants it done right for the fans!
I thought the exact same thing, luval! Adam is lip-syncing!!?!! This is a first! I’ve read others accuse him of that elsewhere. This time, I fell for it too!
Definite sound issues with “Shady”. Hope what we heard online isn’t what the audience heard. The beginning was distorted. I was listening with my headphones. When the song ended and he turned his back to the audience, he said, “LOWER! IT’S TOO LOUD!!”.
I’m not sure his whole heart and soul was in these performances. In spite of that HUGE audience, maybe he just wasn’t getting the “vibe”, the feedback, from them that he thrives on. That’s how it came across to me. Couple that with the sound issues and I don’t think he was feeling it. Vocals were wonderful though as usual.
Adam was great, he looked so happy and relaxed on stage. My favorites of the songs he did, was Naked Love and Cuckoo. Loved how he got the audience singing part of Naked Love. That man knows how to perform, he could give master classes on singing.
The consensus of twitter was the sound was BAD, Brian on keyboards was tooooo loud. Shady (like you said, Ron) wasn’t great (the sound) and peeps didn’t like the Cuckoo breakdown. But Adam’s voice was AAAMMMMAAAZZZIIINNNGGG!!!!!!!!
All in all I think Adam was wonderful and some people are gonna get an earful later! (ouch, sound guy).

There was complaints about the sound on twitter when other artists were up there too. They always have the bass too loud.
Doesn’t make sense you want to be close to see the artist but you get horrible sound.
Some people said the were back further and the sound was good.

I agree, Ron. He knows people are there to see him at his concerts, but being one of many in a venue like this means there are a lot of people who don’t know him. He worked hard to win that audience, and it seemed like most of the crowd was with him by the end of his set. Wished the announcer hadn’t mentioned American Idol when he introduced him. I know that until Season 8, if I’d heard that, I would have tuned out and not paid much attention. Wouldn’t it have been great if he’d have said instead, ‘international superstar, grammy-nominated, Adam Lambert, who will be singing lead for Queen at several concerts this summer.” or something like that..

They interview him on the livestream about an hour ago and I had turned it off because os the crap singer that was on. and twitter says he said something about “Lambdamonium”

I must say that I agree with you too. You make an excellent point, something I didn’t consider, that not everyone in the audience was there to see Adam. He probably saw more than a few less than enthusiastic faces staring up at him when he first started. I hope he won them over in the end.
To me, these weren’t “edgy” performances. He wasn’t “razor sharp” as he was the day before yesterday on AI. This is because I’ve seen him “live” and watched so many Adam videos. Many at this concert seeing him for the first time, with no basis of comparison, most likely thought he was wonderful. I’m sure he sold a “few more” CD’s.

People on the feed are really pissed because they did not show any of Enrique. Kiss apologized and said they couldn’t show him? Record company maybe?

Loved this! The performance was so good and 7 songs! WOW! I agree Kradamour we should see some contrasts between the 2 performances we’ll attend next weekend and we know both will be great! And we are lucky to be among the first. To think I almost didn’t make it !!

My husband has referred to Adam as MY Lamb Chops for a long time now. He will once in a while say something like, “I heard your Lamb Chops is going to be on American Idol……”. Too damn cute, I say!
