    Just watched the Light, gosh, I love that song…..Looking at pics yesterday I didn’t like the trousers, but starting to watch the videos…I can see why all the people there loved them!!!

    IIHY was great, so much fun, love the reggae version. I like Terrance and Dani as the back up singers, I never really notice their voices which is as it should be. The Vajayjays often used to sound too loud to me, and sometimes they were really off vocally wise.

    We had such a wonderful time in WB. It is truly a special place for Adam and his fans. I totally agree with what my fellow ALLers have said. I think there were only about 100 tickets left for the show but it seemed like a full house. The crowd was really loud and on their feet the entire time for Adam. Rachel Platten was great and I would definitely go see her on her own some time. The stage was so crowed for the earlier acts that her set was done squeezed to to the front of the stage. By the time Adam’s set came on they had to spend about 30 minutes clearing everything away and making sure the stage was prepared to allow for maximum movement.

    I have always had a fantasy of just casually running into Adam ala cwm . I thought the best place for that to happen would be the WB Best Western where a few of us had encounters the last time. After all Adam had a room at the very small hotel and had to go in and out. Right?? Well this time Adam never went through the lobby and I guess never came out for any type of signing after the show. So………….

    nkd and I had a room facing the street where Adam’s bus was parked. I figured if I sat by the window I would eventually see Adam leave the bus and come across to the hotel. Sure enough at about 3:30 I saw Rob and Adam cross the street. Adam was wearing his new coat with the big collar and his black suede ball cap. I figured I would try to get to the lobby before he scooted through. Got to the elevator and pressed the down button. A few seconds later the door opened and there Adam and Rob stood. Rob immediately said that they were going up and I said “Hi Adam”. He said “Hi”. I said “See you later”, he said “okay”. He had this huge sweet smile on his face and I’m sure I looked happy and totally gobsmacked. I know that this is so little and that there was no physical contact and I didn’t get to say anything meaningful but it made me so happy non the less. I think it is because I didn’t act like a total asshole and I was calm and respectful. Yes I wanted to jump in the elevator with him but I didn’t.

    I got my physical contact during my very brief M&G with Adam between me and nkd. It was very fast but again felt 1000 times less embarrassing than last time. I think it was because he looked so comfortable and happy. At my last M&G several years ago he looked so tired and I felt so guilty to put him through it. This time he really looked like he was enjoying hugging his “moms”. So Little Dutchess after all my worry about what to say, there was really nothing to worry about. Short and sweet is about all I can handle and that’s what I got.

    so happy to hear that you felt great about not just one but two ‘encounters” with Adam!!! Short and sweet is great if you come off feeling good about yourself and not worrying about what you shoulda, coulda done or said.

    I, on the other hand, could have blown the elevator scenario…just thinking about it. My timing would have been off and I probably woulf have looked liked I was planning it.
    So, my friend, you did GREAT!!!

    Maybe they’ll be an elevator encounter in my future…but like luval I think it has to be somewhere
    small.

    Where do we think Adam will be in Worcester? (that’s not too big). And several of you will be there much earlier than the duke and I (was that a play?!!!)Should we be trying to come earlier tomorrow???

    Just a quick recap for tonight…I’ll have more to say after part 2 of our Adam adventure tomorrow. What is it about Wilkes-Barre? This is the 3rd time I’ve seen Adam there, and he’s been on fire every time. He was so happy and chatty. He was all over the stage, dancing, gyrating and thrusting his hips. I loved the pj pants. They looked adorable, but were initially a little, er, distracting. His vocals were outstanding, of course. I heard Lucy live for the first time and it was just amazing!

    It was my first M&G. Adam was so sweet and charming with everyone. Luval and I went up for the photo together. It went very well. I kept my eyes open, smiled, got a few coherent words out, and managed to not look like “a total asshole”. It was a brief, but wonderful experience.

    Nkd and I are at our hotel now enroute to Worcester where we’ll meet up with luval, little duchess & the Duke for our next fix.

    adamized I Loved your elevator story!!! We had a brief “elevator encounter” in L.V. When we got in the elevator on our way down to the show, there was one person already on. NO, SADLY it was not Adam. (Well, maybe that is a good thing because I’m sure I would have fainted dead away if it had been) but it was a pretty young girl with long dreadlocks. I said, you are in the show, right? Yes, I am Adams backup singer. By then we were down and as the doors opening I said can I take your picture. It was kind of dark in the hall and we fiddled around with the camera, and hubby took a picture of me with her. However, the flash didn’t go off. She took our phone and showed us how to turn the flash on. lol, the kids know how do everything with the phone. Then I took a picture of just her. She was just so sweet and friendly. We said goodbye, have a great show and as she went on ahead of us I said “say hello to Terrance” Stupid me, I could have said “say hello to Adam.

    retjenny, We ran into Danni on the elevator as well. She was coming off it into the lobby and folks were taking pictures. She has a lovely face and a really good voice. She and Terrance seem to be doing a lot of work to come up with synchronized movements for each of the songs. It ads to the energy of the performances and gives the audience some fun movements to follow.

    Lucy was amazing in WB. Don’t know if Adam ran out of time or just didn’t want to change the mood but he skipped TISI. Too bad but I’m not complaining about my WB experience.

    Love your recaps, guys! I still look at those fab vids of the WB Trespassing concert, especially Kickin In!!!! On fire!! And this one was great too. He’s the king of plaid pants, as well as leather. Yum. Yes, very distracting. And proud of your “few coherent words,” mmm222. Quite an achievement and I’m not being snarky.
